More aerodynamic and lighter, the EMME 5 boasts an exceptional weight-to-stiffness ratio, the best ever achieved. 5% higher aerodynamic efficiency and -8% frameset weight compared to the previous EMME 4 model.
This improvement was achieved thanks to a dedicated study of carbon layering used in the Monolith manufacturing technology, which makes it possible to create a true monocoque by eliminating joint points and achieving a perfect distribution of carbon fibers along the entire frame.
Full integration of the cable routing into the headset and fork also ensures high aerodynamic efficiency, which is further optimized by the differentiated development of the down tube section and the special carbon seatpost with a drop section.
The construction of the rear triangle is also completely new – ALL IN ONE PIECE, designed for perfect transfer of forces from the bottom bracket to the rear wheel axle. The frame construction allows the use of tires up to 32 mm wide.
