The C72 has been designed to express the highest level of performance, interpreted through Colnago’s design language. Every element is developed in harmony, creating a cohesive whole – from construction to materials to geometry – resulting in a bike with perfect composition.
Like every model in the Colnago C range, the C72 is handcrafted in Italy, as it has been from the very beginning. Built to ride and to stand the test of time.
Greater comfort and wider tires (up to 35 mm)
Comfort and handling are enhanced thanks to better vibration damping and increased grip. The redesigned rear triangle and seat area improve compatibility, while greater tire clearance allows the use of wider tires – reducing road vibrations and increasing traction, especially on longer or more demanding rides.
Integrated storage
For a bike designed to deliver a complete riding experience, an elegantly integrated storage compartment has been created – by rotating a tab at the bottom, the bottle cage tilts away to reveal the storage space.
New integrated CC.02 cockpit
The CC.02 features a new curved shape that allows for a more aggressive riding position and better brake control in the drops – for improved handling and confidence. It is lighter than its predecessor – 15 grams less than the CC.01.
Improved geometry – tailored to your needs
While retaining its racing DNA, the bike can now be set up to deliver greater comfort on long rides. The improved geometry – with a higher stack-to-reach ratio – allows for a more relaxed, endurance-oriented position when needed.
Lighter than the previous C model
The frame is lighter than its predecessor, improving response and overall ride feel. An unpainted frame in size 485 (without metal parts) weighs 895 g, which is 30 g less than the C68. With the right setup, the bike can easily reach a weight of 6.8 kg
